FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Abraham Lincoln, U.S. President said, I remember my mother's prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life.
FACT: Through the hard work of two women, Anna Jarvis (1900's) and Julia Ward Howe (1870's), Mother's Day was celebrated in almost every state in the Union. On May 8, 1914, President Woodrow Wilson signed a Joint Resolution designating the second Sunday in May as Mother's Day.
Women today are as passionate, as focused and as busy as these two pioneers trying to make things happen and keep things in order. And we are as grateful as Abe Lincoln for their support and love.
There are a number of gift ideas to help to celebrate this special day and recognize our mothers.

FOR THE MOM WHO TAKES CHARGE:
One way to help Mother with her busy job of keeping the family life in balance, is to give her one of Day-Timer's newest products - The Schedule Master. The Day-Timer Schedule Master (www.daytimer.com) not only keeps her organized but, more importantly, helps to create good communication among family members.
Here's how it works: Each person in the family has their own color code. ?Everyone can see at a glance if there are conflicts with anyone's schedule.?This keeps parents in charge of family life vs. being a reactor to an endless number of activities that can pull a family apart.
For instance, Mom can see at a glance that she is going on a business trip and her daughter's birthday will happen while she is away. Mom?can choose to live up to her family values ?while carrying through on her business obligations. ?She can invite her daughter to spend the Saturday before she leaves on a special date - to go to the movies,?play video games and have her favorite fast food. ?
So this calendar is more than color coded pieces of paper. ?It is a help for Mothers to finally create balance in their family lives in 2009 and choose to do what is important to them first.?
