New Year’s Quick Quiz!

Question: What’s the most important appointment you’ll write in your Day-Timer planner this month?

Answer: The appointment you make with yourself to: 1) review what you did (or did not!) accomplish in 2002… and, 2) set your direction for 2003!

Don’t take this advice lightly, because your decision to follow it or shrug it off can have a dramatic impact on how your year turns out.

Start RIGHT NOW by asking yourself…

  1. What did I accomplish in 2002?”
  2. Could I (or should I) have done more? If so, why didn’t I?”
  3. Have I set specific, measurable goals for 2003? If not, why not?
  4. (Are you being too easy on yourself?) And by what date will this be done?”
  5. How will I apply what I learned last year (and all the years prior) into this fresh, new upcoming year that will make the biggest difference in my life?
Silly? Only if you consider accomplishment silly. Only if you prefer to take the “rudderless ship” approach to life… drifting helplessly… allowing other people’s desires and circumstances to determine your life direction.

Resolutions Made… Now What? Setting resolutions is one thing. Everyone can – and has – done that. The challenge is attaining what you resolve!
